This place is an institution!! Located in Burlington, used to come here years ago, yeah yeah I know … back in the day, lol. They sell so much shit from Holland, my only craving is their licorice!! This fucking place might have the largest selection in all of North America, maybe even the whole world. Not just regular licorice (which I love), but their double salted licorice (which I crave). You know the phrase, ‘you’re either gonna love it or hate it’, everybody always casually throws that one around rendering it meaningless … that phrase musta been specifically meant for double salted licorice. Oh, and most people hate it, I’ve given plenty to try, only to have them spit it out … right in front of me too. They couldn’t finish one measly motherfucking piece of candy, as if it tasted horrible. And it wasn’t as if I put a gun to their heads forcing them to swallow either … “there, now was that so bad?” … in retrospect mighta been a good idea, lol!! Place is famous for their cheese selection too ‘gobs of Gouda’ and since I won’t be going back in a long time thought I’d buy a huge-ass half-wheel piece as well. And when Tiffany K. caught wind of my trek, made me her personal errand boy and set me on a mission (the whole time she’s talking I’m thinking, God, not another ‘wild Gusto chase’ vainly trying to track down four specifically flavoured Dolce pods for her coffee addiction (oops, affection) that are unavailable in local shops) to a specialty coffee shop located in Burlington, that she heard about through a good friend. Surprisingly they had the quad, she’s trilled!! And I got my double salted licorice, plus I got the Gouda!! Happy as clams, happy campers!! Jesus Christ … Godmotherfuckingdamn, I need to trademark that phrase … print it on t-shirts and shit, lol!!
