This is my version!! I was eating solo this particular day and was so craving a burger … so I went to my local market, and all they had for buns … well all they had that stood out were these lovely ciabatta buns!! I thought, why not? I also snagged 350g of freshly ground Angus sirloin. I then high-heat grilled the beef (liberally sprinkled with my secret seasonings, of course), and then the bun at a lower temp. (toasted to perfection, as you can see) and made this fucking incredible 12 ounce beauty with sauteed ‘shrooms, some Tex Mex cheese that I had leftover, and some mustard&mayo!! Notice the optimum degree of doneness (perfectly pink) when I flipped it and sliced it for ease of eating … as well as a great pic for y’all. Served alongside my trusty companion of course … a pilsner glass full ‘o Urquell, and I was one fucking happy camper … as you can imagine!!
