not sure of the exact day… although w/dedicated perseverance could nail it (is the super-bowl-sunday laziness in me. i’m using that as an excuse. i stand corrected… it’s the everyday laziness in me). a great day nonetheless! i do remember this was the last pic jeff snapped out of hundreds… and, i also remember him (he reminded me of animal from lou grant) telling me, how much he loved this pic, said it resonated our effort and accomplishment… our culmination after two hours in front of the lens. truthfully, for years, i never was much a fan of it. now, seven-and-a-half years later… i’m warming up to it!
my 2016 new year’s eve lasagna!
… saved the best for last! flying solo too. lots of work making it all come together; as the per usual run myself ragged routine. but GODDAMN… i’m worth it, so i did! parm regg, chianti riserva, olives, my best homemade bolognese (grain fed white veal + angus beef extra lean sirloin), rosemary focaccia, best italian noodles, etc. etc. – the whole 9 yards, the whole kit and caboodle, the whole shebang! y’all know me too well! oh, and even splashed on mr. burberry for the special day/eats… not only the food smells good folks!
… my apologies, table was cracked, so i nailed ‘er… shitty host, lol!

The cat was let outta bag for those in the know some time ago, and now y’all are officially included in dansnewsoftheday… I’m moving to Leslieville (many pics/blogs will follow too – promise)! Queen Street East Mofos! I’m gonna be an east-end hipster, lol! I keep calendar counting down the days, playing it all out in my mind, over and over… and over! Completely cognizant there’s still so much to do before the day arrives, but come October 1st, am looking (& leaping) forward to the countless, new neighbourhood experiences to enjoy… is my (soon to be) new life! Yep, chuffed as mofo fuck!

Christmas Day Fun Run!
… my first time running since November 1st, and considering poor conditioning… killed it!! I see so many daily runners in this mild winter weather, luckily being able to continue running/training throughout the year (me, w/my job makes it next to impossible), and am SO jealous… yet, they’re still slow-poking it? What’s up w/that shit?!
Chuffed as fuck w/my x-mas run… 15 minutes for 3K is only 2 minutes-ish from my PB… and w/regular sessions 13:30 would be easily attainable day after day! I’m also happy as hell w/negative splits (lungs began burning 400m in, lol)!
