Always such a hectic time of year … “It’s crazy,eh?” … my favourite quote of late, courtesy of Rueben who works as a supervisor/manager at a place where I online shop from time to time when I called to enquire about some concerns I had regarding recently botched orders!! Seems, like I’ve been borrowing that phrase a lot lately, lol.
After the mad rush, days later, I created this leftover mash of osso buco, turkey meatballs, rapini, tilapia, potatoes and olives, covered with aged Auricchio provolone and baked french onion soup style in bowls specifically designed for that purpose that I bought at Crate & Barrel … along with this Fuller’s Vintage Ale I saved for a couple of years. Must say, I kinda enjoyed it more than the actual Christmas dinner, lol!!
