I was gonna be late, so I picked up my pace to run
the end of the something I did not want to end, beginning of hard times to come
but something that was not meant to be is done, and this is the start of what was
my jeans felt a bit tight, I think I washed them too high

… never! And no way, no how, are you lost on anything! Just doing my thing with songs/lyrics … my son shared this with me recently, I was blown away after repeated plays, further research. I always provide a link. Would love to tell ya have a listen … but that’s not me …
