Hey, in my defense, woulda been done way sooner had I not devoted myself to a more important, time-consuming reno job I was helping out with. BIGTIME!! I don’t profess being a plumber … only a know-it-all. But, under this particular October 31st scary situation handled myself handy-dandy-halloween-well, if I do say so myself! Water spewing everywhere on two floors was the last thing I wanted to see. Images of THAT proverbial expen$ive emergency plumber phone-call kept fla$hing in my mind! A bit of collateral drywall damage looking for leaks, and then capping off the water supply with shut-off valves … and dan’s-yer-plumber!!
