Am so motherfucking stoked!! Booked the bitch July 21st, thought it woulda been a been a long, long agonizing wait, but surprisingly the time flew, and now… tomorrow’s the day! I’m gonna savour every moment, and squeeze in as much Vancouvering as possible… ’cause I know it’ll be over as fast as the snap of yer fingers! Wish me bon voyage… motherfuckers, lol!

Yesterday + today! First time I ran in 13 days… worked 11 of the last 14 days – over 110 hours… good for the pocketbook, not so much for fast times on the pavement. Still getting shortchanged by Garmin, not that it matters (just sayin’), need new satellites tracking me. Times are well off 27 minutes of my old form, but I’ll take them. Actually, feels so good/refreshing using running muscles, even if only on the weekend. Hoping for 2 more good runs next weekend… then the following weekend, I’m off to Vancouver!! I can’t believe it’s almost here… am so stoked, can’t wait!

Concorde
OMG, I can’t believe it … was just thinking about this!! I even recalled the year correctly, 1986 … yes I’m dating myself, lol. I was walking across the Burrard Street Bridge, was standing smack dab in the middle when the Concorde passed directly overhead (VERY VERY low as I remember) providing Vancouverites with a teasing preview days before The Abbortsford Airshow displaying its incredible beauty, power … and awesomeness!! That day I definitely had a horseshoe up my ass … being in the catbird seat watching the flyby!! They sure don’t make them like that anymore do they? Thanks whiteranger84 for the vid.
