These are a few pics of the food I made for family and friends. Just eating, hanging out and relaxing, watching the Tournament of Roses Parade and then the Winter Classic from Fenway Park. It was such a pleasant day, and a great way to ring in the new year.
There was plenty of food, and I had leftovers for days … like always!! Yesterday morning I was so hungry and had a craving for a poached egg on a toasted English muffin, but had no time, as I was late leaving the house. But it stuck in my mind all day, and I decided that when I got home for dinner, I would have my poached egg, but now instead on leftover reheated lasagna. Now, I’m sure, it’s been done before, but I never heard of it, never read it, so I’m taking full credit for this new invention combination. I topped it off with grated Parmgiano-Reggiano and Romano Lupa, and with the yolk oozing perfectly, it was fucking incredible … not that I’m surprised!!
