Ok, so the do ain’t exactly new … is only slightly changed … busted, lol. But it’s a haircut nonetheless and nothing beats those 75 carefree minutes (washes my hair twice – before and after the cut – my stylist is the best, but so am I and I deserve it) spent being quaffed and pampered, laughing and shooting the shit, leaving refreshed … a feeling-good-about-myself-man, ‘nstead of that my-long-hair-is-finally-getting-on-my-nerves-I-can’t-take-it-anymore-dude who walked in.

… gaining an hour. Wish we could keep doing that every day, lol. Always so much controversy regarding Daylight saving time … people love it, people hate it. Some countries use DST, some don’t. Canada does, but not the entire country … Saskatchewan doesn’t … neither does British Columbia’s Peace Region. I know, very confusing, lol. Don’t know what the perfect system is, don’t really give a shit either … all I know is that I love waking up with an extra hour’s worth of sleep in the tank!!

Just gut-feel the past 2 weeks has taken a toll on my orignal (lower priced too) pick Excelebration … thinkin’ he might bounce, not cozy up to Santa Anita’s rock hard aspalt- like turf course. Superstitious signs lead to the Freddie and the French filly … first the double with Miesque, then the triple with Goldikova, and now maybe another with Moonlight Cloud?! Damn Freddie, you’re a master of the distaff. Go girl go!!
… adding to my already too-many-beer-glasses-collection, lol. Snagged this while out shopping at Ikea … needed a little pick-me-up-present after the day spent winding my way searching for the cashier, exit, and ESCAPE!! Blogging in real-time too folks … cheers!! 😎
Story starts a couple months back when Hydro arrived unannounced and butchered the HUGE shrub at the front of our property. Said they needed it cleared to allow access to their box … funny thing for years they never seemed to care/bother ’bout the box or the bush. Removing it created (… and left) such a mess … really was an eyesore (not to mention carelessly snipping my cable/internet line in the process – don’t ask, don’t get me started) with the ground all chewed up and seeing the exposed rusted out original box … it was a blot at the end of my driveway. A bit of complaining from the complainers was all it took. They replaced the box, laid new sod, and planted three beautiful shrubs … really did a great job fixing it up too. Imagine my surprise coming home yesterday and seeing this … couldn’t believe it. Hydro must really want them to survive the winter … I’m guessing they’re hedging their bets (y’all caught that right, lol?) avoiding getting an earful if they don’t!! 😆

… a quickie post, a few pics y’all. Thinly sliced oven roasted turkey, havarti, Boston lettuce, hothouse tomatoes, low-fat mayo and my favourite Yukon Gold potato bread. Used my Mario Batali grill pan, and made a quickie cambozola dressing for the sweet potato fries – oh, and that’s Maldon sea salt flakes too. Enjoy!!
