… my version of goin’ california … brought on/inspired by yesterday’s neglect, complete lack of appreciation! fuck it! i’ll make my own – even BETTER … and so i did!
… here it is! my homemade tomato sauce w/ my special (3 meat) recipe meatballs slowly simmering in a stockpot, alongside the finished product. dan’s italian meatball sandwich!!
… that BUN is key … ok ok, part of the perfect sandwich puzzle … two cheeses, sautéed (secretively seasoned) mushrooms. and more secret stuff too, and i ain’t splillin’ any either, lol. check it out, the BEST meatball sandwich anywhere y’all. YUM-MF-O!!

Nov. 9, 1999! I’ll never forget it! My sweet little Lily came into my life! Sadly, she left it too soon. It was then I realized … Lily’s the only hope/reason I have for heaven’s existence … and I ain’t fucking joking! As I said before, if it does exist, and when my time comes … I’ll be barreling through, pushing ALL family members aside who went before, wanting to greet me, looking for her, wanting to snatch her in my arms letting her plant those doxie-lapping-kisses all over my mug like she always did! Speaking of heaven – afterlife … November 9th is also the day one of greatest geniuses of this place we call EARTH was born … Carl Sagan! And I leave you (along with a pic of my Lily) with one of his many great quotes, and this one in particular, pertaining to heaven/afterlife!

… honestly, should read “inefficiencies aggravate the fuck outta me” … toned it down. Looks like a kinder, gentler danistrulytheman rules this blogroost of late. Maybe that’s a good thing. Seriously, you’ve been doing this, repetitively on a basis for who knows how long? Yet it takes me a mere 2 seconds to see its failings and shortcomings and setting you straight? BIGTIME!! I don’t profess being a plumber … only a know-it-all. But, under this particular October 31st scary situation handled myself handy-dandy-halloween-well, if I do say so myself! Water spewing everywhere on two floors was the last thing I wanted to see. Images of THAT proverbial expen$ive emergency plumber phone-call kept fla$hing in my mind! A bit of collateral drywall damage looking for leaks, and then capping off the water supply with shut-off valves … and dan’s-yer-plumber!!
