Splits were consistent too, although my 3rd surprised me – it’s hands down my fastest, but not today? Strange?! Oh, well, I blame the slight headwind, lol! Feels good laying down a good time! Chuffed!

Chick… not dude! As in Swift… and, was she! All started w/seeing my Bell bill this morning… then seeing red! Was furious… I just spoke w/customer service not even 2 weeks ago straightening the whole mess/everything out?! Honestly, I’ve had it, was done… was calling to quit. Dude transferred me over to their cancellation department, and is where Taylor took over. She was able to do what others couldn’t, or weren’t allowed. She told me they had an across the board price increase (which I surmised), but what pissed me off, is why when given a month’s credit last time for my problems, wasn’t it for the new price, instead of the old since the increase was implemented beginning April? That’s what tipped me off, alerted me that something was amiss! Needless to say, that was the first thing done, the difference credited to my account – funny, after getting that, was still gonna quit, lol! Then, after a few minutes on hold, she came back w/a crazy-assed price, lower than my previous negotiations (which, I did receive the credit for as well). Starting today, I’ll be saving over $135 a year (on top of all the credits, so many, hard to keep track, lol)! She did warn me that price increases do occur, but also said they’re not expecting any in the foreseeable future (this year). Oh, suffice it to say, I asked for further retroactive discounts as well… and received them! NOW, I’m extremely happy… thanks again, Taylor!!

Jonathan laughed when I said that! I greeted my postie (3rd day straight – finally arrived) today, I had both decals applied within 20 minutes! The pic of the one on the hood doesn’t do it justice (if anything, reveals my chipping paint), but the rear pic is awesome… is the one people will see most of the time! At a distance, both look so incredible… feel like I’ve a new car, lol! Oh, BTW… this is the first money I spent on my honey since buying her 6 months ago… BabyZen is very, very, happy… I am too!!
Finally a run to blog home about! I’ve been having a difficult time, and I don’t know why? I’ve been running over 2 months for the 2015 season, and don’t have the distance stamina I should, and def don’t have the pace I expect. I’ve been running very slow compared to my glory days of 2013 when I set all my records. I don’t know where this came from… I’m particularly proud of my 3rd split; I was shocked when my wrist buzzed and I looked down to see a 4:12, I didn’t feel winded, or that I ran it particularly fast/hard. I certainly had plenty left in the tank, and even my final split although fast as well, I never went out and killed it. I know one day I’ll be able to finish in 8:15… and if I could run a solid 2K to start, I’ll have a great chance at PR-ing. As it was, I only missed it by just over 30 seconds. And, to show you how slow I’ve been, my previous best this year was 18:50 (which I ran twice)! Today, if nothing more is vindication…

Whoa!! How much do I love my bank? How much does my bank love me back? First Mackenzie w/ her never-ending, relentless awesomeness/helpfulness, then Hanan coming on board too … ya both went to bat for me, not letting me get fucked – by your employer no less … speaks volumes! Thank you Mackenzie, thank you Hanan! With that issue finally resolved … today, A stepped up as well regarding a separate matter on the same account! After our brief chat yesterday vowing to make things right with a gift card, informs me after speaking with customer care, all they’d be able to do would be a $20 gift card. Was kinda bummed about the amount (sensed he was as well) … so he suggests we scrap the gift card idea (honestly, never was a fan – I mean it’s like mailing cash, was skeptical/scared … lost/stolen, etc., leaving me still screwed) and asks me if direct depositing $50 (the amount I mentioned yesterday btw) into my account would make things right?
