Plain ‘n simple, easy peasy post. I became a runner 6 months ago. I have plenty of thoughts on the subject, but for now, I wanna keep my lip-zipped … a kinder, gentler danistrulytheman being careful not crushing tender tippy-toes. I’ve become a regular peruser of blogposts, and I’ve learned SO much from so many (ok, actually, only a few), but lately I’ve become disillusioned with it all. Firstly, why do bloggers feel it’s their plagiarist-punk-ass right to steal use photos/shots/pics that aren’t theirs? It’s blatant too, purposely borrowing eye-catching visuals, along with their cutesy captions, hoping to suck you in … but, as quickly as I see it, I just as quickly tune out. Bloggers with agendas – ain’t nothing new to me, I get it … but RUNNING bloggers? You mean even THAT’S not exempt? How low can you mofos go … shit’s blasphemous!

Just simply curious, why again – in fact the last two posts, aren’t being shown/posted under RUNNING, when I continually categorize/tag my posts properly? And, not only that, but I see other posts in the feed/thread, that really don’t have anything to do with running, but more along the lines of health/nutrition?
I take time, and effort to write my blog – I’m proud of my running stories, my accomplishments, all I ask is that they be displayed along with all the other blogger’s stories/posts with respect to RUNNING … thank you!

WordPress – You’re Motherfucking Killing me!!
With my newfound running love/love for running – my pride, happiness of it … all I want is to be showcased along with all the other numbnuts who blog about this subject. Is that too much to ask?! AND, I did ask/complain once before … obviously fell on deaf WP ears! AND, not only did I categorize my blogpost under running, I tagged it countless ways relating to the subject, hoping that’d help. It didn’t! Once again … WTF WP?!?!

I never complain … BUT … I can’t help noticing during the past three months I became a runner, and started blogging under RUNNING as a categories option, you RARELY have my blogposts showing under said category?! Cunts! Pricks! AND, not sure if it’s connected (really haven’t delved that deeply), just seems to me, I ain’t getting the traffic I used to get for all my other blogposts either (not that I give a rat’s ass ’bout that), just while I’m calling ya out on one thing, figured, I might as well call ya out on the other. Ya following?!?! Good! Fix it!! I did say cunts, pricks right?!?! Grrrr!!

I’ve said it before, looks like I’m sayin’ it again … thanks, but no thanks to any/all of these silly, meaningless “things” that apparently many bloggers give way too much credence to … widget-ing your blogs with them as some sort of achievement?! Huh, really? Newsflash folks; it means nothing, absolutely nothing … THEY AIN’T REAL!! Receiving an Oscar® or a Grammy®, now those are awards, THOSE ARE REAL!! Along with ceremonies, speeches, trophies, and recognition from peers in the industry … and, as well given to deserving recipients with NO conditions or stipulations … you don’t receive one of these under the pretext you’ll make more movies/albums, lol … how goofy is that? … a chain letter, pyramid scheme “award-thingie” … here’s your award, now go pass it along, LOL!! Please people, no more nominations … I’m done with the politeness & pleasantries … I know who I am, and I can tell you with complete honesty & humbleness, danistrulytheman doesn’t need/want any of ya scrolling blogs looking at me to pawn off your phony-baloney – er, I mean legitimately nominate a deserving candidate as part of your acceptance of one of these prestigious (really, REALLY facetious) awards!! Always fun getting my annual report, fellow bloggers – you know what I’m talking about. A few stats I’ll divulge are new posts: 262 and pictures uploaded: 443 … very close to danistrulytheman 2011 year in blogging numbers: 276 and 472 respectively. Got me thinking I should do a personal year in review giving a few shout-outs expressing my thanks and appreciation. And while it may not make complete sense to you, it does to me. Firstly I want to thank John, Jessica … and the third person in this group, I don’t think I even know his name, lol? Only his blog handle and the stories he tells … I do know it’s your birthday and you’re 48 to give you a clue, lol. I’m thanking these three for the same reason, although their blogs are completely different from each others … told ya, it’d make no sense, lol. The second group I want thank is Jason, Jennifer and Gee Gee ( … and Gee Gee is in a league of her own as she’s constantly and playfully reminding me … looking forward to seeing you at danistrulytheman‘s yearly subscription/followers invite only allowed, drunken and orgy filled appreciation soiree btw, last year’s was a blast, remember, lol?!) for a different reason as well. All of you have done something, inspired me, motivated me … difficult to explain, too hard to quantify, so I won’t try. Quick thought: now that I have publicly named six (all who receive my blogposts btw, so no excuses, lol), wonder how many will respond/acknowledge?! … I’m pretty sure I already know the answer, lol. And that’s ok, there’s one person who absolutely loves my blog … he laughs, he smiles … he constantly reads it over and over soaking in its wisdom, LOL!! 3 years – 700 posts!!
Got this party started Sept. 17/09 … and 700 posts later, I’m still here!! 3motherfuckingand7fuckinghundred … WOW … quite an achievement if I do boastingly say so myself … and since it’s MY blog … I DO!! No time left now for shame, horizon behind me, no more pain … and was a lot of time passing and hard efforts that got me here, methinks I have a chest-thumping, slapping myself on the back right despite likely lazy-assed naysaying from a petty jealous unaccomplished lot – you can do better, then do better – don’t be raggin’ ‘n rainin’ on my parade!! 2-3 weeks ago realized my three year anniversary was nearing, AND was approaching 700 posts … instinctively syncing-the-deuce … plotting plus planning offing 2 milestone birds with 1 brick began – and with mind doing double-time duty, and fingers pounding the keyboard was able to get there. Love scrolling down my homepage and spying my archive column (thing’s a motherfucking mile long – puts a grin on my puss,lol)!! Don’t know what the future holds in danistrulythemanland … don’t care – right now I’m soaking this all in, just wanna savour today’s flavour!! Snapped this shot last week-end, my pics mean a lot to me, this one more – with my front facing iPhone camera too, something I NEVER EVER do, strange eh?!
