crouching tiger selfies!

… has been WAY too long, and was crouching, lol! will be my last at my beloved dirtydozenwick! and, will miss it so much, everything about it, the good (and, the bad), despite my love/hate… i will DEF miss my time/life these past two years! i was blessed to be here! and, i will forever be appreciative, and will never forget any of it… thank you! but soon this chapter closes, and a new one begins… that’s life folks. today, thought i better capture my remaining time as a personal momento (plus now, am hoping/wishing my new place is more favourable (lighting, no crouching, lol, etc.) for selfies!

Saturday Spa-ghett!

technically Fileja Calabresi, but spewing that three times fast is a mouthful of marbles gone horribly sideways, plus ain’t alliterative! in any case, is spaghetti epitomized to the nth degree… and then some!

danssauce is a culmination of time+effort… as well as my superduperchefskillset!!

meatballs w/ an oxtail kicker!

… that’s right!! started w/searing a beauty piece of oxtail before doin’ ma regular meatball thang (this is shit i make up as i go folks, i swear)… was looking to give that extra depth of flavour. is perfect when ya think ’bout it… my meatballs are veal & pork, the beef completes the meat trifecta – genius! btw, deglazed w/white wine too for more oomph! and, we chefs love oomph! purposely wasn’t shy using a shite-load of homemade sauce filled to the le creuset brim today either! why? how do you spell leftovers? l-e-f-t-o-v… never mind, lol! sides of creminis and hot (i mean, HOT) ontario peppers are the perfect compliment. at this point no skimping… olives too y’all! decided on my famous meatball sang today, provolone, romano def don’t hurt my fave/best (ok, ONE of, lol) italian meals ever! finished w/an obligatory splash of masi of course, and … roberto’s yer zio!!

round ‘n round we go!

Is how I’ve been… my brain frantically figuring out food for today! Thought I had it all set in stone last night too… Zin Zen was the plan, and don’t get me started on that one, woulda been the day of all days… the eats of all eats… the best $0.99 I ever spent! YES… 99¢ folks … y’all have no idea (OK, Caymus is a clue for sleuths in ya)!! But, Mother Nature stepped in (bitch… cunt, lol), and ultimately, ultra high humidity nixed it, nipped it in the bud! As a result, today dansplans kept changing, OVER AND OVER… at least dozen times! And, after much bustin’ brain against the wall (ok, pillow, lol), here is were we stand!

Fresh ground, hand formed burger, cremini ‘shrooms, heirloom tomato, swiss emmentaler, special sauce, on a buttered and grilled kaiser bun!

Verdict? Umm?!

… GUILTY!!

street dogs & creemore!

inspired by my PC® brand buns (check out the poppy seeds, extra long too) purchased today… love these bad boys! already had the all beef jumbo franks in the fridge… was a perfect marriage. roughly chopped sweet onion, sliced tomatoes, hot peppers, mustard… and, the secret ingredient (drum roll, please)… cheez whiz!! perfect for a hotter than hell july day, after a long day of work… and, after a 5k run… danistrulythemotherfuckingman!!

Lawrence: I can understand, these miles are added by Shell directly and often times do get added quicker, its just that we need to allow the 120 days to pass before we can intervene on their behalf. I do see this Promo was offered by them in April. For promos like these everyone that participates gets the miles added at the same time. 
Lawrence: If for any reason the posting period passes and you do not see the 125 miles just connect with us here again and we will ensure anything missing gets posted on their behalf. 
Lawrence: I do understand 120 days is a longtime to wait, but rarely takes that long, I do see you qualified with 5 redemptions in April so the 125 miles should be posted from Shell soon.

Florentino Free!!

Had time today, so drove down to say ‘hi’ to the old gang. Side note; nothing/nobody has changed… kinda depressing. Anyway, was fun seeing everyone, visiting… then suddenly Florentino appears, and first thing he says to me, “go get some food”, lol! AND, I never went overboard taking advantage of his generosity. Is a perfect amount, thanks my friend!
