My favourite month by far… blogged about it 3 years ago – July – that year was a particularly good one! Same goes for this year, July 2015 (hell they’ve all been great – ain’t judging Julys, lol)! It’s been 2 long months since my bank account sniffed a deposit, while busily pissing withdrawals. Tomorrow… the buck stops here! Begins w/a bang (fireworks?)… OhCanadaDay, followed by the 2nd, 3rd, 10th, and 16th!! That’s five fecking direct deposit paydays in half a month?! Not to mention another cool day tossed into the mix, making it an even half-dozen great days to kick off the month of all months! Lots more great/personal stuff from a lifetime ago… I still remember, and reflect! C’mon, admit it… y’all LOVE July!!

Garmin was generous today, I’ll take it… usually on the wrong end of the GPS stick! Seventeen and a half minutes, only twenty-five seconds off my PR! Splits were consistent too, although my 3rd surprised me – it’s hands down my fastest, but not today? Strange?! Oh, well, I blame the slight headwind, lol! Feels good laying down a good time! Chuffed!

Chick… not dude! As in Swift… and, was she! All started w/seeing my Bell bill this morning… then seeing red! Was furious… I just spoke w/customer service not even 2 weeks ago straightening the whole mess/everything out?! Honestly, I’ve had it, was done… was calling to quit. Dude transferred me over to their cancellation department, and is where Taylor took over. She was able to do what others couldn’t, or weren’t allowed. She told me they had an across the board price increase (which I surmised), but what pissed me off, is why when given a month’s credit last time for my problems, wasn’t it for the new price, instead of the old since the increase was implemented beginning April? That’s what tipped me off, alerted me that something was amiss! Needless to say, that was the first thing done, the difference credited to my account – funny, after getting that, was still gonna quit, lol! Then, after a few minutes on hold, she came back w/a crazy-assed price, lower than my previous negotiations (which, I did receive the credit for as well). Starting today, I’ll be saving over $135 a year (on top of all the credits, so many, hard to keep track, lol)! She did warn me that price increases do occur, but also said they’re not expecting any in the foreseeable future (this year). Oh, suffice it to say, I asked for further retroactive discounts as well… and received them! NOW, I’m extremely happy… thanks again, Taylor!!

Whoa!! How much do I love my bank? How much does my bank love me back? First Mackenzie w/ her never-ending, relentless awesomeness/helpfulness, then Hanan coming on board too … ya both went to bat for me, not letting me get fucked – by your employer no less … speaks volumes! Thank you Mackenzie, thank you Hanan! With that issue finally resolved … today, A stepped up as well regarding a separate matter on the same account! After our brief chat yesterday vowing to make things right with a gift card, informs me after speaking with customer care, all they’d be able to do would be a $20 gift card. Was kinda bummed about the amount (sensed he was as well) … so he suggests we scrap the gift card idea (honestly, never was a fan – I mean it’s like mailing cash, was skeptical/scared … lost/stolen, etc., leaving me still screwed) and asks me if direct depositing $50 (the amount I mentioned yesterday btw) into my account would make things right? Hells yeah!! Hells yeah … that’ll make things plenty right! Kept telling the dude, “you’re the man”! I not only love when people know how to get shit done, they actually go about getting shit done!! Thanks A … you def are the mofo man!! I did say whoa, didn’t I?

Special ordered this December 2 … I blame falling for AMEX’s front of the line privileges afforded me! Arrived yesterday – was well within their 8-12 week delivery window! Beautiful attention to detail regarding package and delivery! Very impressed! Oh, and what’s w/ that awesome order number 95959 … it’s a prime, a palindrome too! I love it, it’s a sign from my number God, means wine’s def got to be exceptional! Can’t wait to try, and I know exactly what I’ll be cooking … more pics then, I promise! Tomorrow marks one month my life changed. I have never professed to believe in God, but I always knew someone was/is watching over me. I know many of these occurrences where I feel being helped in my life can easily be dismissed as pure dumb luck, etc.. Fair enough. This sensation of having my own Angel has been with me for a long time, pushing 30 years – where things happen that help me, that I don’t believe are random or is any reasonable explanation for. I won’t fully expound on this latest one, getting into specifics, I have trouble identifying with the masses, conventional thinkers. I get frustrated with wading pools, I’m the Marianas Trench. That’s the truth folks, not arrogance. If I told you about my latest, most definitive proof my Angel exists, sure all I’d get would be “that’s cool”, “wow, weird” at best. That would frustrate the fuck outta me, so I’ll be mum, keeping everything close to my vest. Better this way, trust me … y’all swim near the surface, I’ll keep deep! Since this whole thing happened, since we met, the way we met, the circumstances surrounding it … every detail, I examine the minutiae, every nuance, every possibility, how, and why?! There is NO OTHER explanation … I have an Angel! Btw, technically was the 11th, but really the 12th. What a day … white wine, beer, and Chinese food! Six and a half hours never disappeared so quickly!

Hells motherfucking yes!! More wine, more beer. No Chinese food, not for lack of trying. It was a Tuesday night, and all closed up shop. Our next time together was last night. My Christmas. I’ve spent 20+ years celebrating Christmas on the 24th, I’ll be damned, I did it again! And, we did Chinese again, lol!

I met you a dozen days ago. You are my friend, last night, I went further and designated us family. Why not? Being fully aware of the pitfalls, the precariousness, the tenuousness of the word supposedly exemplifying union, togetherness, forgiveness?! It’s all a crock of shit, trust me. Don’t believe that crap, fall into that trap for a second y’all! However long this thing we have lasts, you are my family. I have proof too. My recently arrived in the mail Air Miles membership provided me with a supplementary card to give to a family member, obviously encouraging more shopping, more points. Points be damned, I couldn’t have been happier giving it to you knowing I’m in your wallet, always close by. From now to then, whenever then is … WE ARE FAMILY!!

… it started early, was very cold standing 40 minutes in line waiting for the store to open. once in, got my RCA 40″ HDTV. a bit of a snag trying paying w/ points … no worries if nothing else, danistrulytheman is one persistent SOB. after 45 minutes or so, got what I wanted … half a yard, cash in hand. sweet! PLUS, still will have my original 50000 points returned back to my account,when I’m done w/ them. all’s well that ends well. next stop was Bay Bloor Radio; I knew what I wanted, new Grado cans + a new Grado extension cable (even so, I did have a hell of a fun time playing w/ their wall of headphones) … hey, I didn’t mind wasting my time on their dime – I love places that validate parking smack dab in the heart of the city! oh, I would be remiss if I didn’t include this deal too … my fave diet pepsi from Shoppers Drug Mart (ok, I know the shit is bad, but I drink one per day, max, … don’t judge, lol). all said and done, taxes included, everything you see here … I paid two bits under $400. yep, bitches … sweet!
